"Ghosties" and Pumpkin Carving

We waited out the wind yesterday evening by making what Viv is calling her "Ghosty Cookies" for her preschool class party tomorrow!

Ghosts of Halloweens Past

In honor of the significant amount of time spent putting together a certain Doc McStuffins Halloween costume (with much help from Nana J!) I decided to dig up some costume photos from other years! Sadly (or maybe thankfully?) most of my childhood trick-or-treating photos are at my parents house, but I was able to dig up some funny ones!

Indian Summer

Mike had to go cover a football game, so Viv and I played in the leaves :) What a gorgeous day! Quite different from the 33 degrees we had the other day!

Squash Soup and a Cozy Long Weekend

Thank goodness for long weekends full of doing relaxing things you love! A much needed

Squash soup! I'm not very domestic as far as cooking goes, but I was looking at a few recipes for squash soup, ignored most of that they said and kind of made it up as I went along. It actually came out really, really well!
